Where do cucumbers come from?

Cucumbers seem to have a similar property of peas that they seem to just appear out of nowhere. One day you see a little flower and seem to grow 10 inches overnight. I know this probably has more to the whole green camouflage and my eyes being bad but this year I kept a close eye on them and documented their growth.

This is funny because we just went out and got three cucumbers we didn’t even know were there two days ago. I’d also add beans to this list. Beans are even more sneaky though… they reappear after you’ve just picked in that same spot!! RIGHT?!?!

Sounds about right. It is like garden magic how fast they grow.

shibaguyz, I really wish I liked beans, one of those plants where you can produce great volumes with minimal space. Exactly what I need in my modest garden.daphne, reminds me of one Google query that caught my eye in my logs “How to make tomatoes turn red” if we only knew
